Mai Nhia Xiong-Chan
Vice President of Enrollment Management
Mai Nhia Xiong-Chan is the Vice President of Enrollment Management at Hamline University. In her capacity she oversees the offices of Undergraduate and Graduate Admissions as well as the Office of Financial Aid. These divisions together work to recruit, enroll, and retain new first-year, transfer, graduate, and adult education students through strategic planning involving scholarships, admission criteria, need-based aid, and more. She also serves as the co-chair of the university-wide Enrollment and Student Success committee and is currently the president of the Minnesota Association for College Admission Counselors (MACAC) and serves on the board of the Girl Scouts of River Valley. Mai Nhia holds a bachelor of English Literature from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, a Masters in Organizational Leadership from St. Catherine University, and is completing her coursework for her Ed.D. from Hamline University.
