Nonprofit Management Scholarships
Hamline School of Business understands the important role that scholarships serve in helping you finance your education and has created service scholarships and formed partnerships to assist students in the nonprofit management master's and certificate programs with the cost of tuition.
Service program scholarships
Hamline School of Business recognizes outstanding leaders who have already demonstrated a commitment to community service and are looking to further their education by awarding a 10% discount on tuition to nonprofit management master's and certificate program students who have served in AmeriCorps, the US military, and Peace Corps.
Eligible students receive a 10% tuition discount each term they are enrolled in at least one four-credit course.
Tuition reductions may be adjusted if the student withdraws from a course after the start of the term. Students should apply for scholarships when applying for admission. Hamline University and the School of Business offer several scholarship and discount opportunities to help with the cost of tuition. Please note that scholarships and discounts cannot be combined.
Program scholarships: $1,000 each
New students who register at least 10 days before the start of their first class will be considered for program scholarships at the dean's discretion. The dean will award scholarships on the quality of the résumé and personal statement submitted with the program application; there is no need to send additional application materials.
Marcia Avner Scholarship for social change
The Marcia Avner Scholarship is awarded each year to a new master of nonprofit management student who demonstrates a history or intent to dedicate their career to determining gaps in social needs and working to create a more just society.
