    Tia Karelson is the owner of Market Karma LLC, a consultancy dedicated to uncovering and implementing the best market and product development opportunities her clients can pursue to achieve their growth goals.

    Karelson teaches Marketing courses in the School of Business, including Marketing Management, Managing in the Global Marketplace, and Consumer Behavior.

    Karelson has twenty years of private and public sector experience. Her career began by establishing expertise in specific disciplines, market research and law. Her legal background gives her the unique ability to apply analytical skills to strategic questions. Prior to establishing Market Karma, she held market research and strategic marketing roles with Thomson Reuters and Deluxe Corporation.

    She received her B.A. from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities, and her J.D. from Hamline University School of Law.

    Teaching Style

    Karelson’s goal is to help students apply learning to real-life situations so they can positively impact their workplace and career.
