    Early Decision: Apply by November 1; estimated financial aid offers provided in the fall with acceptance letter; students confirm enrollment by December 1

    Early Action: Apply by December 1; decisions mailed before the holidays

    Priority Deadline: Apply by January 15; decisions mailed within four weeks

    Rolling Admission: Hamline uses the Common Application and also has a Hamline online application and a paper application which can be mailed to students upon request. A complete application file includes:

    • Common Application or Hamline application with essay;

    • one academic teacher or guidance/college counselor recommendation;

    • official high school transcript;

    • ACT or SAT scores.

    Hamline's admission process is thorough and holistic. We invite prospective students and guidance/college counselors to contact a Hamline admission counselor to discuss our admission review process. All students admitted to Hamline have until May 1 to consider their offer of admission.
