RJ Holmes-Leopold, university gift officer, was elected to a two-year term on the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) District V Cabinet. He was also selected as a Leadership Fellow for LGBTQ Leaders in Higher Education.

Linnette Werner, professor of leadership studies, and David Hellstrom, adjunct professor of leadership, collaborated on an original documentary-theater production, "Who We Are: Stories from the Surge," which will be featured at the 2026 Minnesota Fringe Festival.

Stacie Bosley, professor of economics, authored a chapter in a new book, Critical Perspectives on Multilevel Marketing: An Introduction to the Field of Critical MLM Studies. chapter addresses information asymmetry in multilevel marketing.

Mark Berkson, professor of religion, was a scholar-in-residence for the Faith and Justice Coalition in Fort Worth, Texas, where he gave three talks exploring topics such as religion, politics, law in America and the experiences of religious minorities.

Jessica C. Lang, assistant professor of psychology, presented her research, "Impact of Partner's Attachment on Outcomes of Co-rumination" at the International Association of Relationship Research conference in Glasgow, Scotland. Her presentation examined how a partner’s attachment style influences the effect of co-rumination, a dyadic emotion regulation strategy, in romantic relationships.

Natural Sciences and Environmental Education (NSEE), part of Hamline's School of Education and Leadership, received a grant from a local foundation to expand the Teacher Field School program.

As hundreds of incoming first-year students prepare to join Hamline this fall, faculty, staff and new student mentors are helping them navigate the transition to college through Summer Orientation and Registration (SOAR).

Hamline University will participate in the Twin Cities Pride festival June 27–28 at Loring Park in Minneapolis. Staff and volunteers will host a booth to connect with attendees and share information about academic programs, student life and campus resources.

The Food Resource Center distributed more than 45,000 pounds of food during the 2025-2026 academic year. The center provides free groceries and basic essentials to students and the community. These services would not be possible without the partnership and regional organizations that make them available on campus.

Jae Louwagie, career development specialist in the Career Development Center (CDC), serves as chair of the Minnesota Colleges and Universities Career Services Association Equity and Belonging Committee and member-at-large on its executive board. They received the Rookie Award at the summer conference received the Rookie Award at the Minnesota Colleges and Universities Career Services Association summer conference.
