Hamline Awarded Federal TRiO Grant
Hamline University has been awarded a five-year TRIO Student Support Services (SSS) grant from the U.S. Department of Education, totaling nearly $1.4 million to support first-generation, low-income, and students with disabilities in achieving academic success.

Applications Open for Xcel Energy Scholarship
Applications are now being taken for the 2025 Xcel Energy scholarship. This is a one-time $5000 scholarship for low-income, first-generation students in specific majors at the 17 Minnesota Private Colleges, including Hamline.

Five to Receive Alumni Association Awards
The Hamline Alumni Association Board of Directors will honor four alumni and one faculty member with an Alumni Association award during Homecoming and Alumni Week. The purpose of these awards is to recognize alumni and faculty who are participating in groundbreaking work in their fields; highlight the impact of a Hamline education; and thank alumni and faculty for their dedication to the university.

Two More Chances to Get Your Vaccines
Counseling and Health Services is coordinating with Walgreens to hold two more flu and COVID-19 vaccine clinics on campus for faculty, staff, students, their family members, and community members. The clinics will be October 14 and October 22 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Anderson Center 112. Appointments are not necessary, but you’ll need to fill out the registration form online or during the clinic.
