After serving Hamline for more than 35 years, Ken Dehkes, associate vice president for facilities, is retiring. Come wish him well at a reception Friday, September 26 at the Bush Memorial Library patio.

Professor Valentine Cadieux of the Hamline Environmental and Climate Studies program was on a public art team featured at the 40th Farm Aid Festival in the Twin Cities last week.

After throwing out a ceremonial first pitch, she stopped in the broadcast booth to share her thoughts about what makes Hamline special and how the opportunity to lead us brought her home to Minnesota.

The Minnesota Office of Higher Education (OHE) has awarded Hamline University an Intervention for College Attendance Program (ICAP) grant to support the Piper Academic Community (PAC) program. ICAP grants provide funding to programs designed to encourage college attendance of historically underserved students, helping bridge the gap between K-12 education and students' first year of postsecondary education.
