Merit and Leadership Scholarships for Graduate Students
Hamline School of Education and Leadership offers an academic merit and leadership scholarships to incoming students admitted in the following programs:
- MA in Education
- MA in Education: Natural Sciences and Environmental Education
- MA in Literacy Education
- MA in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages
Incoming students to the master’s programs in education, natural science and environmental education, literacy education, and teaching English to speakers of other languages programs, who can demonstrate outstanding records of academic achievement are eligible to apply for an academic merit scholarship.
Incoming students who have exceptional records of leadership accomplishments and demonstrate areas for potential growth in the field of education, and who are enrolled in a qualifying master’s program, are eligible to apply for a leadership scholarship.
Eligible students should apply at the same time that they apply for admission to the program or no later than:
- July 30 for fall semester
- December 31 for spring semester
- April 18 for summer semester
Priority consideration is given to those who apply early.
Students must be admitted to the program in order to have their scholarship application reviewed.
Note: Hamline University and the School of Education and Leadership offer several scholarships and discount opportunities to help with the cost of tuition. Please note that some scholarships and discounts may not be combined.
