• Fulford-Karp Physics Scholarship

    Hamline's Fulford-Karp Physics Scholarship is designed to support students who have a demonstrated interest and aptitude in physics. The scholarship requires a major in physics. This award is a full-tuition scholarship--it does not cover room, board, book rental, etc. Full tuition may be met with a combination of the Fulford-Karp Scholarship, or other federal, state, or Hamline gift aid.

    Deadlines
    Review of Fulford-Karp applications will begin on December 1st, and continue until a recipient is chosen. Prospective students are therefore strongly encouraged to apply by that date.

    Scholarship Criteria

    All required materials for admission to Hamline University must be submitted before applying for departmental scholarships. Scholarship applications and materials received after the deadline will not be considered. Scholarships are only awarded to students who have received an offer of admission from Hamline University.

    How to Maintain this Scholarship
    To maintain this scholarship annually, the scholarship recipient must maintain a 3.0 GPA and declare a physics major by the end of the recipient's sophomore year at Hamline.
