Warrior Up Documentary & Discussion

Dear Hamline Community, In honor of Native American History month, join us for the Warrior Up Documentary & Discussion on Tuesday, November 25th at 12:45pm (West 101). Isaac Garcia is an Ojibwe warrior on a mission to change the narrative. Isaac will share more after the film about his passion to serve St. Paul's homeless community. Special thanks to Wesley Center, and Office of Inclusive Excellence for this Hedgeman Center collaboration. The event will start with a brief history of Fry Bread from Mariah Grant (Blackfoot), co-owner of Trickster Tacos (Native American fusion dishes). On the menu: -Frybread Tacos (Beef, Chicken, & Soy Chorizo) -Bison Hominy Stew with Frybread -Wild Rice Taco Bowl/Taco Salad
