Environmental Education at Hamline

Hamline School of Education & Leadership

Lead environmental change with Hamline's Natural Science and Environmental Education (NSEE) certificates or master's degree

When you enroll in a NSEE program at Hamline, you’ll join a community with standing. Not only is Hamline lauded as a "Best Regional University" in Minnesota by U.S. News & World Report, but our environmental education department was named the 2024 Partner of the Year by the Minnesota Association for Environmental Education, and our master's program is one of only a handful to receive accreditation by the North American Association of Environmental Education (NAAEE).

But you don't need to be an educator — or a Minnesotan — to join us. Our programs offer comprehensive environmental literacy and skills training to propel a range of careers in a convenient online format.
