    Are you looking for a home that combines the amenities of an apartment with all the benefits of living on campus? If so, we have the perfect answer. Opened in August 2000, the Hamline University Apartments offer students convenient and comfortable on-campus living in a community of senior, junior, and sophomore undergraduate and graduate students.

      

    Apartment Eligibility

    The following groups are eligible to live in the apartment building:

    • Returning undergraduate students with senior, junior, or sophomore status

    • Graduate Students

    • Married students and their spouses

    • Students 25 years of age or older

     

    Apartment Details

    Styles and Room Dimensions:

    • *Studio (1 bathroom): 467 square feet

    • 2 Bedroom / 2 Person (1 bathroom): 786 square feet, bedroom size 9; x 15.5'

    • 2 Bedroom / 4 Person (1 bathroom): 974 square feet, bedroom size 12' x 15'

    • 3 Bedroom / 3 Person (1 bathroom): 1068 square feet, bedroom size 9' x 15.5'

    • 4 Bedroom / 4 Person (2 bathrooms): 1260 square feet, bedroom size 8.5' x 15.5'

    *The number of studio apartments are limited and priority is given to those who need a studio apartment to accommodate a medical need. Studio apartments are rarely available for undergraduate students unless a medical condition exists. Medical accommodations must go through the Disability Resources office (disabilityresources@hamline.edu).

     

    Some apartments have a shower and storage closet in the bathroom, while others offer a tub/shower only.

     

    Apartment Features:

    • Central heating/air conditioning 

    • Nine foot ceilings

    • Full appliance package: refrigerator, stove, garbage disposal, and dishwasher (microwave not provided)

    • High speed internet access in each bedroom (1 port per person) and wireless internet access

    • Cable television in each living room with free streaming service

    • Laundry room on each floor

    • Community space for study and social activities

    • Card access system for exterior building doors and stairwells

    • CCTV security cameras at all building entrances

    • Indoor trash/recycling drop off on the first floor

    • Laundry, cable, and internet costs are included in the room fee

    • On-site parking (more information regarding surface lot and underground garage parking can be found here)
