Messenger Presents Paper at Society for American Archaeology Meeting

Anthropology Professor Lewis "Skip" Messenger delivered a pedagogical methodology paper on Saturday, April 14 titled "Investigating the Archaeological Past's Climatic Dimensions With Undergraduates Using CADGAP (Climatic Analogs Data Gathering Project)." This was part of the Integrating Climate Change into Archaeological Curricula Symposium that he initiated and co-chaired. Following the papers and the discussant's final review of Messenger's paper, the discussant personally thanked Messenger for his 30 years of teaching climate change to his anthropology students. This was followed by a standing ovation from the audience and the discussant.
