• Information for Employers

At Hamline University we understand the time constraints and resource restrictions you face as an employer--we face them as well! That is why we work hard to develop services and programs that are flexible and simple for employers to use.

Our goal is to help Hamline students integrate their classroom learning with the workplace and help you connect with these talented students in order to create successful working relationships for internships, part-time positions, and full-time employment.

To allow us to best serve your needs, please contact our Employer Relations Specialist, Ayn Rassier at 651-523-3071 or arassier01@hamline.edu. We look forward to working with you!

    Free job and internship posting

Hamline Career Link  is the Career Development Center's online job posting, recruiting, and communication system. Employers can post positions directly, schedule recruiting events, and join Piper Connect.

**For the safety of our students and the children and families we serve, the Hamline University Career Development Center does not accept postings from private families/individuals. This includes, but is not limited to, personal care assistants, nannies, and tutors.  Private families may contact nanny and personal care agencies that perform screening of both care providers and families to ensure the safety of all parties involved.

    On-campus recruiting

We offer a few ways for you to recruit on-campus including tabling and interviewing.

    Tabling
Set up a table or a display in a high traffic area during the academic year. This allows you to promote yourself with students as they are passing through the building. Tabling can be requested through Hamline Career Link as well.

    Interviewing
On-Campus interviewing is available during fall and spring semesters here in the Career Development Center suite. On-campus interview dates can be requested by contacting Ayn Rassier, Employer Relations Specialist (arassier01@hamline.edu). We encourage you to schedule early to receive the date of your choice and to promote your opportunities effectively.

    Career Ready Internship Grant
The Career Ready Internship Grant was developed by the Great Lakes Higher Education Guaranty Corporation to provide funding to eligible colleges and universities that develop programs to create new, paid internship opportunities for students with financial need. For more information on how to partner with Hamline University on the Great Lakes Career Ready Internship Grant please contact Lauren Kavan, Internship Program Director (lkavan01@hamline.edu).
