Greenman, Alumni Publish Article on Intimate Partner Violence Screening

Criminology and Criminal Justice Professor Sarah Greenman, in collaboration with former students Audrianna Wylie and Brandon Wylie and former colleague Valerie Chepp, recently published an article in Trauma, Violence, and Abuse. Entitled "A Scoping Review of Intimate Partner Violence Referrals within Healthcare Settings," the article concludes that there is minimal research directly exploring the effect of referrals for Intimate Partner Violence victims within healthcare settings; moreover, existing research is mixed, with varied measures of referrals.  The article posits that future research should focus on the effectiveness of specific types of referrals once Intimate Partner Violence has been identified in a healthcare setting.
