As the end of the semester approaches, the Dean of Students office will accept nominations for the Trish La Plante and Commitment to Student Development awards. The DOS office will establish committees to review the nominations and determine recipients. The recipients will be announced on May 15th.
The Trish La Plante award is given annually to a Student Affairs professional who displays exceptional leadership and initiative. Students, Staff, and Faculty are invited to nominate a Student Affairs professional for this award.
The Commitment to Student Development Award is given to a Hamline Staff outside of the Division of Student Affairs. This individual is chosen by DOSA because they have displayed outstanding service to Hamline students and effective collaboration with a Student Affairs department.
