Hamline biology senior Hunti Xiong presented his research on maize mutant Lig5 at the 66th International Maize Genetics Meeting in Raleigh, North Carolina. His project investigated the impact of Lig5 mutation on expression of maize architecture genes. His research adviser is Irina Makarevitch.
