Spring Showcase of Student Research

You are invited! - to present the research and creative work that you have done or are currently doing in your classes, at the Hamline Spring Showcase for Student Research and Creative Inquiry in the Classroom on Tuesday, April 30, 11:20 a.m. - 12:40 p.m..

Please complete this form by the end of the day on April 16, 2024. We will reach out with the instructions on printing posters and infographics - they will need to be submitted by the end of the day on April 25.

We want to recognize and celebrate the research and creative work that you do, not in “extra” experiences like our summer collaborative research program, but in your courses. Hamline students in all fields--humanities and natural sciences, fine arts and social sciences, education and business--do exciting research and creative work as part of their coursework. If you did research or creative work in any of your fall 2023 courses, or are doing any now in your spring 2024 courses (check the syllabus, we bet it’s in there!), please present it at this showcase! Group projects or individual projects are welcome! All formats are welcome, too. Posters? We can help! Here is a template in case you need it. Infographics? Excellent! Here is a template in case you need it. You can also provide your audience with QR codes for other formats (such as video). We are also including a performance stage for the first time at this year's symposium, so if you would like to perform part of a play, play a musical piece you've been working on, or read some original poetry you are invited to do so!

Please make one submission per project and do not forget to include all co-authors and co-presenters!

Laura Dougherty and Letitia Basford, co-Directors of Honors; Ryan Larson and Leif Hembre, Co-Directors of Hamline Collaborative Undergraduate Research Programs, and Irina Makarevitch, Center for Teaching and Learning.
