U.S. News & World Report ranked Hamline University as Minnesota’s top regional university for the second year in a row, according to its 2022-23 report released Monday. Hamline is ranked 12th overall in the Midwest by the influential college ranking publication.
“At Hamline we are extremely proud of our service to students, so it is great to see our faculty and staff recognized for the tremendous work they do to give students the best education and opportunities at a tremendous value,” President Fayneese Miller said.
In other U.S. News rankings: Hamline jumped three spots in the Most Innovative School ranking (3rd among Midwest regional universities) and reached Minnesota’s top spot for the Best Value ranking (14th in the Midwest).
Hamline University was named Minnesota’s top-ranked Master’s University by Washington Monthly. Nationally, Hamline ranked 52nd (up nine spots from last year) among Master’s Universities. Hamline was also recognized as a “Bang for the Buck” Midwest university.
