Hamline Ranked First in Minnesota, 26th in the Nation by Washington Monthly

Again this year, Washington Monthly ranked Hamline first in Minnesota and 26th nationwide in its Master’s Universities category for 2017. Hamline also made the publication's Best Bang for the Buck- Midwest Colleges list.
Washington Monthly rates schools based on their contribution to the public good in three broad categories:

Social mobility: Recruiting and graduating low-income and first generation students
Research: Producing cutting-edge scholarship
Service: Encouraging students to give back to their country

The Best Bang for the Buck list is compiled based on schools that are the best value for your money based on net price, graduation rates, and whether those students go on to earn at least enough to pay off their loans. You can see the complete 2017 rankings on Washington Monthly’s website.
