Student's Research Featured on FOX9

Chemistry student Sarah Bliese was featured on FOX9 to talk about her research on pharmaceutical testing and her experience at Hamline as a first-generation college student. For two summers, Bliese worked with Dr. Marya Lieberman at Notre Dame to develop a test card that easily, quickly, and inexpensively determines if certain medicines are degraded. Bliese showed FOX9 how to use the Paper Analytical Device (PAD) that she helped create, and she described her time in Kenya testing the cards in clinical environments. You can watch the full interview below.
