Hermer presents at ASLME Health Law Professors Conference


Hamline Law Professor Laura Hermer delivered a presentation entitled "On the Uneasy Relationship Between Medicaid and Charity Care" at the 36th annual American Society of Law, Medicine & Ethics (ASLME) Health Law Professors Conference in Newark, N.J., on June 7, 2013.

This conference is intended for professionals who teach law or bioethics in schools of law, medicine, public health, health care administration, pharmacy, nursing, and dentistry. ASLMEā€™s Health Law Professors Conference combines presentations by experienced health law teachers with the opportunity for discussion among conference participants. The program is designed to provide participants with updates on issues at the forefront of law and medicine and to provide them with the opportunity to share strategies, ideas, and materials.

The 2013 conference took place June 6-8 and was co-sponsored by Seton Hall University.
