Prof. Fox's work receives international attention

Hamline Law DRI Senior Fellow and School of Business Professor Ken Fox has been invited to serve on the International Board of Advisors/Editorial Committee for "Estudios de Deusto," the official law and political science academic journal of Universidad de Deusto in Bilbao, Spain. Founded in 1904 as a Spanish language academic journal, Estudios de Deusto is now preparing also to publish in English. For the past five years, along with a team of Hamline Law and other American Conflict Resolution faculty, Fox has co-taught at Universidad de Deusto in its ERASMUS MUNDOS Masters Program in International Trade and Finance.

Fox has also had a co-authored article re-published in Russian. His co-authored book chapter (with Manon Schonewille of the Netherlands), "Moving Beyond 'Just' a Deal, a Bad Deal or No Deal," was originally published in "ADR in Business: Practice and Issues Across Countries and Cultures, Volume II." The translated article will appear in "Mediation and Law Magazine," Russia's only professional journal about alternative dispute resolution. The article argues that the same principles and skills that mediators can utilize to help parties respond constructively to their existing disputes, can also be used to facilitate the formation of new business deals and relationships.
