    Water~Stone Review summer writing workshop

    Held at Hamline University’s Saint Paul campus, writers work with nationally known authors in fiction, poetry, and creative nonfiction. Last year’s workshop faculty included authors Lucy Corin, Stephanie Elizondo Griest, and Parneshia Jones. The workshop is open to students in Hamline’s Master of Fine Arts programs and community members with a bachelor’s degree and creative writing experience.

    Hamline Young Writers Workshop

    High school writers spend a week each summer working with published authors on poetry, fiction, creative nonfiction, or college essay writing on Hamline University’s Saint Paul campus. Young writers learn from Hamline’s experienced faculty, as well as visiting authors, about the writing life, careers, craft, and more while exploring the Twin Cities.

    $350 early-bird rate (register by April 30)
    $400 regular rate (closes June 5)

    $100 deposit is due at the time of registration (applied to overall cost). Rates include lunch each day and a field trip
