Next Steps for Newly Admitted Students

Congratulations on your acceptance to Hamline! We’re excited to welcome you as a student to the Hamline community and the Online Bachelor’s Degree Completion Program. Your Online Navigator is available to answer any of your questions and help you through the process of getting ready for and enrolled in classes. In the meantime, here are some next steps you can get started on:

Submit your intent to enroll form

Once you’ve reviewed your admission letter, you must confirm your acceptance into the program by submitting your Intent to Enroll form, which you can find at the bottom of your application status page.

    Apply for financial aid

    1. Complete a Hamline Financial Aid form for online degree completion students
All students need to complete Hamline’s financial aid form. You can access the online form by clicking on the button that corresponds with the term you are starting in the program. For more detailed information about financial aid options, visit the ODC Financial Aid website.

    Starting spring or summer 2019

    Starting fall 2019

    2. Complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid)
All students expecting to use financial aid must complete a FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). When filling out the online form, use Hamline’s school code: 002354. Once Hamline receives your FAFSA results, we will mail you a financial aid award that includes loan application instructions and payment plan information.

    3. Submit your loan applications
You can find all the instructions for applying for student loans on our website. Select the loan you are interested in and follow the instructions listed.
