2. Apply for financial aid

Online Bachelor’s Degree Completion students should be sure to complete the Hamline Financial Aid Application, FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid), and any loan applications. You can find more detailed information about financial aid options on the online bachelor’s degree completion financial aid page.

3. Meet your online navigator

Your online navigator will be your main point of contact and primary resource for consultation and advice throughout your degree program. They will provide personalized, one-on-one support and guide you through orientation and class registration.

Kelly Krebs (navigator@hamline.edu) is Hamline's director of transfer student success and online counselor/navigator for online bachelor’s degree completion students. With more than 25 years of experience in higher education and 18 years at Hamline University, Kelly has a deep knowledge of the Hamline curriculum and is dedicated to helping students reach their educational goals.

4. Complete your online orientation

New students must complete the online orientation before starting classes. Your online navigator will send you information with a link to the orientation program. Through the orientation program, you’ll be introduced to Hamline’s online learning platform, Canvas, and become familiar with the support services and resources available to you.

5. Register for classes

Once you complete the online orientation, your online navigator will work with you to determine which course(s) you’ll be taking for your first term and help you enroll. You’ll have access to your course(s) one week before the start of the term.
