Hamline University Commencement is May 14

Hamline University will honor a new generation of leaders with Commencement ceremonies on Saturday, May 14 at the RiverCentre in Saint Paul.

Three ceremonies will be held to celebrate the academic achievements of those who graduated in December 2021 and those who will complete degrees in May and during the summer of 2022.

Three-hundred and 45 undergraduate students are expected to participate in the 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. ceremonies, followed by 155 graduate students at the 3 p.m. ceremony. A total of 433 undergraduate students and 329 graduate students earned their degrees at Hamline this year.

Honorary degrees will be bestowed upon former Minnesota Governor Mark Dayton and Hamline Trustee Winston Folkers ’57.

The ceremonies are ticketed events and face masks will be required. The events will also be livestreamed.
