Professor Lifeng Dong Published

Lifeng Dong, Professor and the Emma K. and Carl R. N. Malmstrom Endowed Chair in Physics, recently co-authored two scientific articles, “Doping MIL-101(Cr)@GO in Polyamide Nanocomposite Membranes with Improved Water Flux” and “Chemical Grafting N-GOQD of Polyamide Reverse Osmosis Membrane with Improved Chlorine Resistance, Water Flux, and NaCl Rejection”, published in Desalination.

Dong currently works with his collaborators and undergraduate students to design, synthesize, construct, and characterize nanoscale materials and devices — including solar cells, fuel cells, supercapacitors, and lithium batteries — for energy conversion and storage, as well as water purification and desalination.
