What Would Justice Look Like?

Nearly 100 people attended a community dialogue on inclusive justice hosted by Hamline on March 15. The event, titled “What Would Justice Look Like?” was an effort by President Fayneese Miller to bring together members of the community from a variety of ages, races, ethnicities, backgrounds, career fields, and perspectives to discuss their views on justice and how to achieve it. Conversations centered on social justice, racial justice, educational justice, food justice, criminal justice, and other related topics.

The event, funded by a grant from The Saint Paul Foundation, was organized by Hamline’s Center for Justice and Law with assistance from several community organizations, including American Indian OIC, Center for Policy Design, Circle of Peace Movement, Minneapolis NAACP, Minnesota Women’s Consortium, Saint Paul Police Department, Saint Paul Public Schools, and Ujamaa Place.
