Hamline Named Military Friendly School for Third Year

For the third year in a row, Hamline University was named a Military Friendly School by Victory Media. Hamline earned this accolade through its notable support of military service members and their spouses.

Victory Media is an organization founded by veterans that advocates for the rights of military service members to ensure that colleges around the United States give them the opportunities that they deserve. Only colleges that meaningfully engage, educate, and employ military students can obtain a place on Victory Media’s distinguished Military Friendly Schools list.

After surveying tens of thousands of schools across the nation every year, Victory Media compiles the Military Friendly Schools list. Schools are chosen through extensive research and free, data-driven surveys of schools. Every year, this research seeks out the most military friendly schools and compiles a new list.

Hamline University became a Military Friendly School by demonstrating excellence in many categories including: military support on campus, academic credit for military service, veteran graduation rates, student tuition assistance, employment rates, and military spouse policies. In addition to Hamline’s numerous services, student veterans are able to connect with faculty, staff, and alumni who have served and join a student organization dedicated to veterans.
