• Fall Move-In at Hamline University

    Fall Move-In Information


    New students will move in by FYSEM  group on Thursday, August 27 and Friday, August 28. Once all students are registered for their FYSEM, students will be assigned a move in date and time. The Office of Residential Life will send email communication to incoming students with their specific move in date and time in early August. This information will also be able to be view in eRezLife (hamline.erezlife.com). Once a student is assigned to a specific day and time, changes are limited and can only be made for circumstances beyond the students control.

    Students may schedule a room item drop-off on either Saturday, August 22 or Sunday, August 23. Students should contact Javier Gutierrez at jgutierrez@hamline.edu to schedule a time on the 22nd or 23rd. Students may not spend the night until their scheduled FYSEM move in date.

     

    Healthy Helpers: Residents may bring two (2) family members/friends, as needed, to help expedite the move in process. Health Helpers will be required to meet the following guidelines:

    - Healthy Helpers will be asked to sign-in, should contract tracing be needed.
    - Healthy Helpers bring/wear gloves, wash hands frequently, and bring/use hand sanitizer.
    - Healthy Helpers are not sick.
    - Healthy Helpers have not been exposed to anyone with COVID-19 symptoms.
    - Healthy Helpers wear a face mask.
    - Healthy Helpers user "Entrance Only" and "Exit Only" doors as directed.

     

    Returning students living in the Hamline Apartments will be able to move in between August 23 and August 30, by appointment only. Apartment residents will be receiving an email with a link to schedule a move in appointment.

    Returning students living in the residence halls (Drew Hall, Manor Hall, Osborn Hall, Peterson Hall, Schilling Hall, or Sorin Hall) will be able to move in between August 26 and August 30, by appointment only. Residence hall residents will be receiving an email with a link to schedule a move in appointment.

    Elevators will be limited to use for large items and by request only.

    Students living in the Hamline Houses should contact the Office of Residential Life at reslife@hamline.edu to make arrangements for move in.
