Moroz Presented at the Association for Middle Level Educators international conference in Indianapolis

Dr. Karen Moroz, School of Education and Leadership, presented AI Can't Talk for Them: Creating Environments that Encourage Critical Thinking and Dialogue at the 2025 AMLE international conference on November 6. The annual conference brings together middle level educators from around the world to "ensure that middle level education drives towards a future where every student emerges happy, healthy, and successful." Moroz, a former middle school teacher, led an interactive session about creating spaces where students engage in rich discussions--discussions that AI cannot dictate, but can, when used effectively and ethically, support.
