Michelle Benegas, associate professor at Hamline School of Education and Leadership, delivered a keynote address on Nov. 9, titled "Rethinking Academic Academic Language: Flattening the Hierarchy and Centering Access.”
The talk was part of the Wisconsin TESOL Conference in Madison, an affiliate of Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages International Association.
