Hamline Vice President of Enrollment Management Mai Nhia Xiong-Chan was recently featured in a Minneapolis / St. Paul Business Journal article detailing the university's success in attracting a more diverse student body.
Over the past decade, Hamline's population of nonwhite students increased 13%, rising from 18% of the student body in 2011 to 31% in 2021 – marking the third largest increase in the state during that period.
