Cristina Werling is a member of the Mankato Symphony Orchestra, Minnehaha Repertory Orchestra, and the Gilbert & Sullivan Very Light Opera Company pit orchestra. In addition to serving as a horn instructor at Hamline University, she teaches horn and piano in her home studio and regularly substitutes as a church organist. Prior to moving to the Twin Cities, she taught at Knox and Carl Sandburg colleges, both in Illinois, and was a member of the Knox-Galesburg, Southeast Iowa, and Quincy symphony orchestras. She studied horn with Thomas Bacon, Roger Collins, and Dr. Randall Faust, and earned degrees from Arizona State University (BM) and Western Illinois University (MM).
