Fall Orientation for First-Year Students
Get started on your college journey
The Fall Orientation program is the second mandatory orientation for all new students. During this program, you will:
- Become more familiar with campus and students support services
- Meet your academic (faculty) advisor
- Connect with other new Hamline students
- Meet and connect with your New Student Mentor (NSM)
- Attend your first first-year seminar
- Learn how to find and join Hamline communities and events
Fall 2024 orientation information
Fall Orientation will be from August 22 to August 24, the week before classes start.
There is no formal registration for Fall Orientation. When you register for fall classes, you automatically register for this mandatory program. Keep an eye on your Hamline email; you'll receive schedule details and instructions after course registration ends. If you are unable to attend Fall Orientation you should contact New Student Programs at newstudentprograms@hamline.edu about what your next steps will be.
