An environmental and climate education minor provides you with robust environmental literacy, which you will use to interpret scientific data and develop educational programs for a diverse range of audiences, from children to adults.

With the minor’s focus on interpreting scientific data, presenting scientifically accurate information across a variety of formats, and developing engaging educational programs, you will:

  • Learn how to develop, teach, and lead environmental programs, outdoor activities, and other projects related to climate and environment
  • Develop rich environmental literacy and communication strategies that you can use to easily convey important concepts and information to diverse audiences
