    Hamline engages prevention & training through various programs, awareness months, training and education, and campus-wide committees to support prevention of sexual misconduct and discrimination based on gender identity and expression.

    We encourage faculty, staff, and students to take the pledge to end sexual violence and join our It’s On Us campaign.

    Let’s Talk Series
    A lot of conversations have happened about sexual violence and how universities do-- and should --respond to it. To help build awareness about this issue, Hamline’s Title IX Office has creating a progressive series of discussions and events for the campus community.

    Students Preventing Sexual Violence
    Join Students Preventing Sexual Violence (SPSV) is the student organization at Hamline University that works to raise awareness and reduce rates of sexual violence on campus and in the community. Through service work, discussion, rallies, and educational events, we aim to shed light on this important issue. We meet every other Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. (Convo Hour), starting 9/16.  Find them on Facebook.

    Women's Resource Center
    The Women's Resource Center is a women-empowered space open to all members of the Hamline community. We provide a safe place to hang out, learn about women's issues, volunteer, and find resources on and off campus. We offer educational programming throughout the year, so please visit our calendar to see our upcoming events.

    Hamline is committed to preventing sexual misconduct, responding when it occurs, and supporting survivors. The University has organized several committees and task forces to do just that. See be

    Sexual Violence Prevention Task Force
    The Sexual Violence Prevention Task Force seeks to address sexual misconduct through creating and coordinating policies, procedures, and programming for prevention and response which reflect an expectation of nonviolence, respect, safety, and care for all members of our community. Membership is open to any faculty, staff, or student.
