    Short Term Disability, Cancer Insurance, and Bridge Insurance - Colonial

    • Overview: Short Term Disability, Cancer Insurance, and Bridge Insurance are to be used in conjunction with your medical benefit elections.  In the event you need to be out of work for less than 90 days due to illness or injury, Short Term Disability can replace a portion of your annual base salary.  Cancer Insurance covers items not typically covered by a medical insurance plan.  Bridge Insurance offers a lump sum payout to you in the event you are hospitalized for a minimum of 20 hours.  Certain pre-existing conditions may apply.     Life Insurance and Long Term Disability Insurance - Lincoln Financial

    •  Overview: Hamline offers Basic Life Insurance to eligible regular full time employees. Voluntary Life Insurance and Voluntary Accidental Death and Dismemberment can also be purchased at the employees cost.  In the event you need to be out of work for more then 90 days due to illness or injury, Long Term Disability can replace a portion of your annual base salary.     Dependent Care Flexible Spending Plan (Dependent Care Account)- 121 Benefits 

    •  Overview:  Hamline has Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts (Dependent Care Account) through 121 Benefits.  Dependent Care Accounts can be used to pay for eligible dependent care expenses (for example: day care or after school care expenses).  Dependent care accounts are elected annually and pre-tax contributions made to a dependent care account must be utilized by December 31st, annually.  See the 2018 Benefit Guide for additional information.
