Book Displays are Back at the Library!

Book displays are back on the 1st floor of BML along with interactive whiteboard activities, questions, and polls! We started the year off strong with "Welcome to the Twin Cities", a display about all that the Twin Cities has to offer for our new students. We then sparked discussion with "Banned Books Week" featuring banned or challenged books from our collection, and also found out that 314 Pipers reported having read a banned book in the past. Next up, we will be featuring books about civic engagement in our "Hamline Votes" display starting on Oct. 27th! Come check out the displays and give us feedback if you have a chance!
