Watson earns All-American honors at NCAA championships

Sophomore Isaiah Watson of Hamline Track and Field finished eighth in the triple jump at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Championships to earn first-team All-American honors. He recorded a mark of 15.05 meters on his first attempt, his second best lifetime jump.

It is Watson's third All-American honor in two seasons as a Piper. He earned second-team All-American honors as a first-year placing after placing 15th in the triple jump at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Championships in May 2025. This season, he added back-to-back first-team honors with fifth and eighth place finishes in the triple jump at the NCAA Division III indoor and Outdoor Championships.
