Kalimamukwento to give keynote speech at writing festival

Mubanga Kalimamukwento, an MFA adjunct instructor, will deliver a keynote address at noon on April 15, at the 16th annual Writing Festival at Normandale Community College. The award-winning novelist and Zambian-born attorney will discuss the art of creative writing, share her story and read excerpts from her latest novel, The Shipikisha Club. The festival is free and runs from 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
