Born contributes to National Environmental Education Guidelines

Dr Patty Born, HSEL and ECST, was part of the writing team that developed the “Guidelines for Excellence in Educator Knowledge and Skills”  published by the North American association for Environmental Education, the major professional organization for the discipline.  The Guidelines are a set of best practices for the preparation and professional development of educators in both formal (traditional classrooms) and non-formal settings who teach and communicate about environmental content and issues.
