The Hamline-to-Hamline Collaboration, in partnership with Hamline Elementary and University students, staff, and faculty, is holding a food drive to support the Food Resource Center.
Food insecurity affects many in our community, and this drive helps provide essential items to those in need. Posters created by Hamline Elementary fourth and fifth graders, alongside Hamline University students can be found around campus to encourage everyone to get involved.
Donation bins are located outside Wesley Center (Anderson Center), the Public Safety office (Sorin Hall), the Food Resource Center (West Hall), and Hamline Elementary.
Needed items include:
- Canned goods (esp. meats, fish, and beans)
- Pasta sauce
- Pasta/noodles
- Cereal
- Crackers
- Baking mixes and flour
- Box/bag dinner
- Nut butters
- Shelf Stable milk and alternative milks (soy, oat, almond)
- Soap/ body wash
- Shampoo/conditioner
- Deodorant
- Toothpaste/toothbrushes
- Lotions (body, sunscreen, shaving cream)
- Razor
- Menstrual products
- Laundry detergent
- Dish Soap
- Toilet Paper
The food drive runs until Monday, Dec. 1. Please donate only new, unopened items that are not expired. Donations of new or gently used paper or reusable bags are also needed.
