Dr. Karen Moroz, a professor in Hamline’s School of Education and Leadership, presented “Using Transformative Potential Based Research to Help Turn the Story” at the Carnegie Project on the Education Doctorate (CPED) National Convening in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on Oct. 22-24.
Her presentation highlighted the Transformative Potential-Based Research (TPBR) theory, co-developed with former Hamline University colleague Dr. Trish Harvey. The theory shifts focus from solving problems to identifying potential and finding ways to reach it.
Moroz also participated as an invited panelist at the CPED Book series session. She shared her experience with writing and publishing, including her latest co-authored book, Transformative Potential-Based Research: A Guide to Successfully Finding One’s Place in Research, published by the Myers Education Press.
