Rosh Hashanah Wishes and a Reminder About Religious Observances

Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year, begins this evening (Monday, September 22) and continues through Wednesday evening, September 24. It is the beginning of the Jewish High Holy Days leading up to Yom Kippur, the Jewish Day of Atonement. Hamline wishes Happy New Year to our students, faculty, staff, and friends in the community who are celebrating Rosh Hashanah this evening.

Hamline is home to a wide spectrum of rich religious and cultural traditions. The university supports and celebrates community members in this part of their identity.

The Wesley Center has information on Wesley Center events and resources for these observances. The university’s Religious Holiday Observance policy  provides details about religious accommodations.
