Juneteenth Added as University Holiday

Acting/Interim President Kathleen Murray has announced that Juneteenth, a national holiday which commemorates the ending of slavery in the United States, will be henceforth recognized as a Hamline holiday.

Juneteenth is observed annually on June 19. This will add an additional day to the Hamline holiday schedule as paid leave for staff. Offices providing essential services will remain open on that day.
