Over Thanksgiving break, Kent Kaiser, Ph.D., adjunct instructor in the Department of Communication and affiliated scholar at the Tucker Center for Research on Girls & Women in Sport at the University of Minnesota, lectured at Daystar University and at US International University—Africa in Nairobi, Kenya.
The lecture topics were “Sports as Equalizer: Challenging Traditional Conceptualizations of Genderlect” and “Media Coverage of Women in Sports,” respectively.
