Beth Sullivan is the Assistant Director of Paralegal and Graduate Legal Programs at Hamline University, where she plays a key role in supporting the strategic direction, growth, and ongoing success of these programs. She serves as a valued resource for faculty, students, and alumni while actively fostering relationships within the local legal community and representing Hamline at professional and industry events. Beth also oversees compliance with the American Bar Association (ABA) guidelines required to maintain the Paralegal Program’s ABA approval.

Prior to joining Hamline, Beth served on the Hamline University Paralegal Program Advisory Board as a Senior Staffing Consultant with Beacon Hill Legal. In that capacity, she provided insights on the legal employment market, workforce trends, and industry developments. Earlier in her career, Beth was the Program Director of another ABA-approved paralegal program, where she gained extensive experience in legal education administration. Her first job upon moving to Minnesota was as a sales associate at Nordstrom, an experience she credits for her love of shoes!

Beth is actively involved in several professional organizations, including the Minnesota Paralegal Association (MPA), the American Association for Paralegal Education (AAfPE), and the Association of Legal Administrators of Minnesota (ALAMN). She previously served on the Board of Directors for Mental Health Minnesota. Beth holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Drake University and an ABA-approved Graduate Paralegal Certificate.
