As a University Gift Officer, Maya works to build relationships with alumni to secure financial support for students and faculty through scholarships, academic initiatives, programs, innovations, and campus improvements. It is her goal to continue to make higher education accessible and share the remarkable effect financial support can have on a student’s college experience.
Maya joined the Institutional Advancement team in June 2023. She comes to Hamline from the North Dakota State University Foundation where she served as an Associate Director of Development for the College of Engineering. Previously, Maya worked in the North Dakota State University Athletic Department where she was responsible for fundraising, sponsorships and event management.
Maya has a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Business Administration from North Dakota State University.
