Description
Kent Stahly founded the cross-country program at Hamline in 1966 and the indoor track and field program in 1967. His teams won multiple MIAC championships, and athletes earned numerous individual honors under his leadership. In 1986, Kent was inducted into the Hamline Hall of Fame. This dedication is a recognition of the hard work of Pipers through the years. It serves as a chance to show our appreciation to the three families who shared a vision to endow funds that would benefit Hamline’s running community, and to the donors who allied to achieve the $1 million goal to dedicate the track.
