Casper Voyles

Assistant Professor - Public Health

Dr. Casper Voyles is an assistant professor of public health teaching in the public health and social justice and social change programs. His research, educational, and professional roles have been centered in the areas of LGBTQ+ health and social inclusion, providing support for inclusion in work and play spaces.

His recent projects have focused on the factors that influence LGBTQ+ participation in sports, LGBTQ+ cultural awareness in the U.S. Fire and Rescue Service, and how international Pride events affect health.

Voyles grew up in the suburbs of the Twin Cities but has spent almost 20 years living on the east coast, where he traded his ice skates for roller skates. He is delighted to return to Minnesota, where he plans to get back into ice hockey, powerlifting, and touring all the best coffee shops in the Cities.
